Red Bull Crashed Ice in Valkenburg is a world championship for athletes who are true daredevils. The athletes put on hockey skates and complete a trail with a very steep ice hill of nearly 600 meters. The start of the 2012 Tour de France & 2012 Cycling World Championship

Liège, Maastricht and Valkenburg.

Valkenburg already is renown as the cycling city of world! In 2012 there is already for the fourth time the UCI World Championship. This all takes place in Valkenburg and Maastricht from September 15 until September 23, 2012. You can enjoy these professionals during a whole week.

In the near future we welcome the start of the Tour de France in Liege, Belgium (Liège en Belgique). This is the official start of the Tour, La Grande Boucle, on Saterday June 30, 2012. Hotel Lamerichs is just 20 minutes by car from the Grand Depart. Please book your room for this weekend now and enjoy the prologue of the Tour de France in Liege. If you are planning a cycling weekend, then you should consider this hotel. Besides the spacious rooms and good facilities, there is a lockable room for your valuable bicycles. There is also special area to do minor repairs on your precious bikes.

The location of Hotel Lamerichs is a great starting point for numerous routes for mountain biking and road cycling. These routes are available upon arrival. Hills known as “Cauberg”, “Keutenberg” and “Gulpenerberg” are in the vicinity.

If you use the cycling package you can start every morning with a power breakfast and you will receive power bars with a special drink for your tour. On your departure day you have the opportunity to check out untill 16.00h. You can also check in early so you can hit the road & sport!

Hotel Lamerichs helps you with the perfect preparation for cycling trips such as: Amstel Gold Race, Bart Brentjes Challenge, Liege-Bastogne-Liege & Boogies Extreme.
